Jim has been working as a greenhouse technician at DDPSC since 2013. He graduated from Southern Illinois, Carbondale with a bachelors in Forestry and worked for the U.S. Forest Service in Colorado as a biologist before moving to Saint Louis.
Jim has previously been responsible for growing cotton, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, and castor. His current responsibilities include annatto, butterfly peas, sorghum, and setaria.
Jim is also responsible for greenhouse lighting maintenance in all three ranges and for providing customized lighting solutions for specialized crops.
Jim's hobbies include gardening, hiking, and wood working.
